Connect people with nature, inspire curiosity and build green skills

National Parks were created to serve people and place. Today they remain some of the most powerful spaces in the UK for learning, discovery and inspiration.

Across the 15 National Parks, learning and engagement programmes connect people of all ages with nature through hands-on experiences, outdoor education and community-led initiatives.

These landscapes provide living classrooms where young people and communities can develop a deeper understanding of the natural world while gaining practical skills that support the transition to a greener future.

By partnering with National Parks, businesses can help inspire new audiences, support inclusive opportunities to learn from nature and equip the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed for the growing green economy. Supporting these initiatives strengthens the environmental knowledge and skills base that businesses and communities will rely on in the future, helping build long-term economic resilience.

Children who spend time learning in nature show improved confidence, wellbeing and academic engagement.
