Help Create New Accessible Habitats
Building on the success of the DEE LIFE project, Eryri National Park is expanding river restoration efforts upstream into key tributaries. This project aims to improve in-channel conditions for lamprey, salmon, and trout by removing barriers and opening up miles of new habitat and spawning grounds.
The impact of this project is substantial, with multiple sites undergoing restoration and significant improvements spanning several kilometres. However, to achieve the full potential of this initiative, support from corporate partnerships is essential.
These partnerships will play a crucial role in providing the necessary resources to create new accessible habitats, supporting the recovery and sustainability of vital fish populations, and enhancing the overall health and biodiversity of the river ecosystems in Eryri National Park.
