To accelerate nature recovery, we need better data — data that connects land managers, communities, and decision-makers. This pioneering project will build on ongoing research led by Naioxo and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority to develop a digital public infrastructure for nature: a shared system enabling transparent, connected, and scalable data for the management of land, habitats, and natural capital.
By linking diverse data sources — from satellite imagery, land surveys, and sensor networks to citizen science and local records — this project will make vital environmental information accessible to all. The goal is to empower farmers, communities, and businesses to track habitat improvements, monitor biodiversity, and drive investment into nature-based solutions and green finance.
