Help us create a safe, scenic cycling route.
Be part of an exciting project that brings safe, family-friendly cycling to one of the UK’s most dramatic coastal landscapes.
While Exmoor National Park is a haven for cycling enthusiasts, there are currently few accessible routes for families, young children, or less confident riders.
This project will create a new 8+ mile multi-user cycling route connecting the vibrant town of Minehead (pop. 12,000+) with the picturesque villages of Porlock, Bossington, and Selworthy—without having to come inland and relying on the fast A39 road.
The route will feature:
- A new way for visitors to explore the coastline and countryside of Exmoor
- Quiet country lanes and traffic-free sections
- Safe, accessible paths for all ages and abilities
- A valuable active travel option for local residents
