Help Create a New Multi-User Trail.
We are seeking a corporate partner to help us develop the Hawes to Garsdale Multi-User Trail, a new, traffic-free cycling and walking route that will improve access to the stunning landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park for people of all abilities.
The Yorkshire Dales presents breathtaking scenery and exciting challenges for cyclists, but the rugged terrain can make it difficult for those with limited mobility, wheelchair users, and families with young children to access these protected landscapes. This new trail will provide an inclusive, accessible, and safe route, connecting Hawes to Garsdale, offering the following benefits:
- A traffic-free route that ensures the safety and accessibility of cyclists, pedestrians, and wheelchair users
- Easy access for people with limited mobility and families with young children, ensuring everyone can enjoy the beauty of the National Park
- A focus on sustainability and green travel, encouraging visitors to explore the National Park in an environmentally-friendly way
This development will open up access to a variety of outdoor experiences, helping people of all backgrounds, abilities, and ages engage with nature in a safe and welcoming way.
