Power Sustainable Cycling in the Broads.
Support a initiative to make low-impact, nature-friendly travel more accessible in one of the UK’s most distinctive landscapes—the Broads National Park.
With its gentle hills, quiet lanes, and extraordinary biodiversity, the Broads is a perfect setting for cycling. Bicycles—and particularly e-bikes—allow people to explore the landscape more closely, quietly, and sustainably.
However, range anxiety and limited charging infrastructure currently prevent many visitors, especially those using lower-cost or entry-level e-bikes, from enjoying full-day rides.
The Broads Authority is seeking a corporate partner to help us roll out a network of solar-powered e-bike charging points across key locations in the National Park.
This innovative project will:
- Showcase renewable energy solutions in a protected natural landscape
- Expand access to sustainable, inclusive travel
- Reduce reliance on cars for visitors and residents
- Enable older adults and those with health limitations to enjoy longer rides
